What About Credit Card Affiliate Links?:

I do not have a deal inked out for credit cards. I write mostly about the card that I do have or and sometimes about cards I do not have, but have enough knowledge to make a rough recommendation. Sometimes the bonus sign-up offer speaks for itself while other times it is the benefits the card has. Some cards just don't make sense to me at any level. Just know that each card works differently for each individual and you also have to take into account credit worthiness, income, spending habits and if the card truly benefits the person. Ultimately the choice is yours.

Here are the top credit cards I recommend regardless of affiliate (subject to change):

*Chase Sapphire

*Chase Freedom

*American Express Everyday Preferred

*Citi ThankYou Premier (I have no idea why they moved the strip to the front

*Citi AAdvantage (only if you fly American a lot)

*Starwood American Express (due to its great transfer rate)

*Barclaycard Aviator Silver MasterCard (you cannot apply for this card, I just upgraded to Silver online)

Those are the cards I use (except for the Citi ThankYou Premier and Starwood AMEX). I would only recommend the hotel card that gave you the most bang for your buck. If you are a Hyatt person, get the Hyatt. If you are a Marriott person get the Marriott. Get the hotel card that is going to give you a leg up on status or flat out status like the Hilton cards from Citi and American Express.
