Citi AAdvantage Global Entry or TSA Pre✓ Statement Credit
Good great news! Citi AAdvantage MasterCard cardholders can not get up to $100 in statement credit when they charge their Global Entry or TSA Pre✓ application fee to their card. There was a hint of this going around a few weeks ago, good to hear that it is true; just another benefit to a pretty good card.
What Does Citi Say?
Here is what they are currently sending out to all cardholders.
We are pleased to inform you that as a Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite™ MasterCard® cardmember you are now eligible to receive a statement credit, of up to $100 every five years, as reimbursement for your application fee for Global Entry or TSA Pre✓.1 Upon approval of your application, TSA Pre✓® allows travelers expedited domestic security screening at participating airports in the United States; Global Entry membership includes TSA Pre✓® and also allows travelers expedited entry upon arrival into the United States from international destinations at select airports.
Global Entry or TSA Pre✓® application fee must be charged to your Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive card to receive application fee credit. To apply for these programs, visit globalentry.gov or tsa.gov.Citi
The Citi AAdvantage Global Entry/TSA Pre✓ statement credit is a great deal. If you do not have Global Entry or TSA Pre✓, now is your chance. No excuses as now it will only take up a bit of your time to apply. My recommendation is to go for Global Entry. It has more comprehensive coverage when it comes to returning from international travel. If you already have existing coverage, this is a great chance to add a travel companion; again, in the end it does not cost you anything, but a little bit of time.
