Earn Up To 75,000 HHonors Bonus Points with the Citi Hilton Visa Card

You Got To Know When To…

Everyone sing!!! Seriously folks, put your cards down for a second and hear me out. Here at Hito-HQ, we’ve received two different e-mail offer in less than a month for the Citi Hilton no-fee Visa.

Citi Hilton Visa Card Offers

First Offer

The first offer appeared in my email in early February. There’s nothing special about it besides the fact that they try really hard to make it seem that there is something special about it. Are you still with me? Good. Here’s the offer.

  • Earn 40,000 Hilton HHonors™ Bonus Pointsafter making $1,000 in purchases within the first 4 months of account opening.

BORING! Its one thing to not credit my EQM from the AAdvantage Executive card, but its another thing to try to continue to insult my intelligence by low-balling these bonus offers via email.

Second Offer

The second offer arrived in my email last week. Seriously, how do you go from 40k to 60k points? Well, this is one that is at least a decent amount of points. Considering the recent award changes, it’s good to see the err of their ways. Of course, you know…and I know…we want more. Why? Because Citi just doesn’t want a customer, they want a customer who is going to cheer in their section, an advocate…an evangelist.

  • Earn 60,000 Hilton HHonorsTM bonus points after making $1,000 in purchases within the first 4 months of account opening

Third Offer [Targeted…Maybe]

Out of curiosity on others experience, a quick search of FlyerTalk brought me to a this threat about Citi 60k and 75k offers. Ah, FlyerTalk, such a wealth of knowledge. Ultimately, there is a chance to earn 75,000 Hilton HHonors™ Bonus points after making $2,000 in purchases within the first 4 months of account opening.

The Benefits

Co-branded cards are not all about bonus points. They also offer a wealth of benefits that earn you additional points, status and more. Check it out.

Additional Card Benefits

Last year, after a decade of being a hardcore Marriott Rewards, I started experimenting with the Hilton HHonors program. I was not disappointed. Now, while I had to work for Gold status, you can easily get Silver with this card. Or, if you are up to it, you can get the Hilton HHonors™ Reserve Visa Card which has a higher point earning rate and automatically gets you Gold status.

If the Chase Marriott Rewards card offered that, I would be…Golden! Ha! Okay, enough with the jokes. What is your experience with the card? Do you recommend or not? If you applied, what offer did you get?
