Mobile App Discount – July 2016

Save Money With A Mobile App Discount

Hello to all. It’s been a wet scorcher the past few days in the Music City. It’s amazing that I can get anything done, but miraculously I…oh wait, I haven’t. My mac is still down for the count and operating off of my 10-year old Lenovo T61p is a lesson in patience. One that I have failed at a few times already. But enough whining, let’s talk about saving money and a mobile app discount.

Actually, I’m talking about iOS and macOS apps. They work alone or together and there are plenty of viable applications that can save you both time and money.

Paid iOS Apps

Are you trying to stay productive over the summer? Here are a few apps that you might enjoy.

  1. Day One 2 Diary + Journal + Notes – $4.99
  2. Deliveries: a package tracker – $4.99
  3. Scanner Pro 7 – Document and receipt PDF scanner with OCR – $3.99
  4. Timepage by Moleskine – Calendar for iCloud, Google Calendar Sync & Outlook – $2.99
  5. Launch Center Pro – Shortcut launcher and Today widget – $1.99

Paid macOS Apps

Yeah, I know, macOS is just in beta right now, but I like to think to the future…when my Macbook Pro is fixed that is. That said, there a handful of apps that are pretty good to help you stay productive over the summer. Enjoy.

  1. Affinity Photo – $39.99, an affordable Photoshop replacement and currently 20% off
  2. Pixelmator – $29.99, an great photo editor
  3. Boom 2: The Best Audio Enhancement App – $9.99 and currently 50% off
  4. iA Writer – $8.99, a minimal writing app; usually runs $19.99
  5. Tweetbot for Twitter – $9.99, the Twitter tool of choice, highly recommended

Act quickly, app prices are fairly volatile so they can rise and drop at any time.
